LITIO - 3D Sheet metal software for AutoCAD

News
News and old news about LITIO.

22nd December, 2007: Future V. 2.0
LITIO is developping new version.

The new version of LITIO, a jump forward in quality and sheet metal development capability is under development, still with no issue date. Stay near!

21st December, 2007: Happy seccond anniversary!,
Dra. Mariana Trigo!

    Me sacó de la fosa infernal, del barro cenagoso;

... Estuve enfermo, y me visitaste...

        San Mateo 25,36

18th November, 2006: Upgrade files to download
Avoiding delays after purchasing.

In order to give our customers a better service and to avoid e-mail sending delays (which were, anyway, of less than 24 hours), we have set up, in collaboration with KAGI, the download of the upgrade files. Instead of having them sent attached in an e-mail, you get a link to download them, included in Kagi's “Thanks for your purchase” e-mail confirmation.

Thus, our customers would be able to use the program just some minutes after they place a credit card or PAYPAL order. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, regardless weekends, holidays, etc. We are working permanently to improve our customers' satisfaction. This is our commitment.

17th November, 2006: New Version 1.3
New patterns added.

As a part of our quality and customers' satisfaction policy, we are improving LITIO permanently through research and development. After lot experimentation we have launched new version 1.3, which contains 3 new patterns. See more about new version 1.3.

3 new sheet metal patterns in LITIO 3D sheet metal for AutoCAD...

Due to our quality policy, all registered users, who opted to receive an e-mail, when a new release is issued, were sent this new version 1.3 for free. If you are a registered user, but you opted not to receive new-version-warnings, you can send us an e-mail asking for your free upgrade.

14th October, 2006: New Version 1.2.
Enhanced AutoCAD R 2006 compatibility.

In some non-English versions of AutoCAD R2006, some compatibility problems have arisen.

LITIO uses the AutoCAD embedded feature GEOMCAL to make some calculations. AutoDesk has changed the geomcal command syntax in VLisp. Thus, previous versions of LITIO would not work properly in some non-English versions of AutoCAD 2006 (Spanish version has no problems, though!; previous non-English versions of AutoCAD do not have this problem!). LITIO might need to be further customized for some OTHER non-English AutoCAD R2006 versions. If so, please send us an email.

Download DEMO of this new version [600 KB]. Registered users who have this compatibility problem can get this new version 1.2 for free.

19th July, 2006: Black lines in dialogue images.
New image file was issued.

With some background colour configurations and some AutoCAD versions, lines in dialogue images may not be visible enough. For that, a new litio.slb was issued. All registered users, who opted to receive an e-mail, when a new release is issued, were warned about this. See also FAQ. Download the file and replace your existing litio.slb with this one.

18th July, 2006: Version 1.1b.
New Version 1.1b was issued.

This version corrects a small bug found by a customer of Toronto, Canada (Stoddard Silencers), who we thank. This bug appeared in patterns #23, #22, #25 and #26 (see page 19 of user manual) under certain parameter combinations. Due to our quality policy, all registered users, who opted to receive an e-mail, when a new release is issued, were sent this new version 1.1b for free. If you are a registered user, but you opted not to receive new-version-warnings, you can send us an e-mail asking for your free upgrade.

12th May, 2006: Website renewed
News and awards pages added.

Website renewed and this page added to public (previously restricted to certain users), as a way to have users and potential user up to date regarding news about the program and the developer.

18th April, 2006: C.E.O's treatment has finished!
Juan's chemotherapy has finished and he is working full-time now.

It was a long treatment, with lots of awful side effects, but it has finished. And it was successful. After six months things are all right now.

"I have to thank OMINT, Clinica del Sol, Dr. Gabriel Traine, Dr. Javier O'Donnell, and, specially, Dra. Mariana Lucia Trigo, who is an excellent oncologist, a very kind person and a wonderful human being. And I have to thank also all the people who prayed for me and supported me and, of course, I have to thank God, Who wanted me to live some years more!"

14th February, 2006: Some e-mail remained unanswered.

During the period our CEO was not coming to work (see more below), we received some e- mail messages, which were not answered. That would not happen, if he were here.

That happened because some of them were too technical (they were too difficult or too specific, that only our CEO would be able to answer them), or it just happened we thought someone else of the team has answered it. CEO is now back, he realized that and asked us to check all mail, to answer the unanswered ones.

If yours was one of this messages, we beg your pardon. It was our fault!

13th February, 2006: Welcome back, Juan!
C.E.O. is getting better and is back at work (although only part-time for the moment).

Juan had some health problems. First symptoms were feet pains and walking difficulties. Things got worse, he was not able to walk at all, and he had to stay in bed for quite a long time.

A ganglion got inflamed due to a cancer and pressed a nerve. He started the medical treatment (chemotherapy) and things are getting better now. He is able to walk again.

Juan's first words on his first working day, after a couple of painful months: "I must thank you all, and specially my sister Ana Maria (who had to take my place), for keeping business going on in such an efficient and professional way during this hard times of mine. Thank you very much!"

Juan is still undergoing his treatment. Thus, he will be not working some weeks in the next few months.

24th June, 2004: Website and V 1.0 were launched
Things started.

Version 1.0 of LITIO - 3D Sheet metal software for AutoCAD and first site were launched. And with great success, we had to admit.
